E3 ’14 [Full Parish Preview]: We Bringin’ Down Tha House!
“BISHOP” RICHARD ZOM @eyebzombie
1.) Assassin’s Creed: Unity – I have great respect and fond love for this gaming franchise. OK– minus the Assassin’s Creed third installment with Connor, the non-personality-having character that just killed the whole vibe and flow of the game. That being said — and fresh off the heels of my personal GOTY, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag — you can bet this Bish’ so ready to flip open the new chapter.
2.) Fable Legends - As I’m just getting into this series (which has been amazing so far), I’ve been soaking up the incredible work put in this fine piece of entertainment. My only issue is the hope that I shall complete the original Fable and all its other installments before this here Legends.
3.) Gears of War 4 – Guns, rugged shoot’em up, grenades, Horde battles, and Buzzsaw guns. Much like our Dutchess’ Call Of Duty, the GOW series just has that bad-ass element that goes the extra mile. Lock & load, The War is coming back (though we can only hope at E3).
“DYNAST” DANA KEELS
1.) The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare - This one isn’t even close. As a life-long Zelda fanatic, I can’t wait for the first reveal of this sure to be future multiple game of the year winner. Coming off of the greatness that was Skyward Sword, I’m completely down for whatever Nintendo can throw at me. And maybe we’ll finally get to use the gamepad to its full potential. Once more into Hyrule!
2.) Star Wars: Battlefront III – Battlefront 1 & 2 were huge staples in my PS2 gaming library. The fact that the series is just now being brought back has gotten me more excited than the first time Luke held a lightsaber. And I’m sure DICE will knock this one out of the park.
3.) Super Smash Bros. (Wii U & 3DS) – It’s Super Smash Bros. 4, nuff said.
“SAINT SUPERKICK” KENNY SANDERS @hueyskyywalker
1.) Mortal Kombat X - Will Ed Boon’s legendary fighting game series uppercut it’s way into E3? Let us hope. Boon earlier in the week tweeted, teasing us with a picture of the signature dragon and with the words: “Who’s next?”
2.) Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - !!!! That is a sound we all know and love. Hideo Kojima said this past week that the new trailer for E3 maybe a bit hard to watch. Yay violence!
3.) Batman: Arkham Knight – The Caped Crusader makes his way back to the big one, as Rocksteady Games is expected to show. Hopefully we can see more gameplay there of Batman in Gotham, kicking some villain ass — Joker, or not!
